Pool & Swim Club

Riverwood Pool & Swim Club membership is open to all Riverwood residents who are in good standing with association dues. It is also open to non-residents who are referred by a Riverwood resident. Adult members who wish to swim at their own risk before or after pool hours may do so by calling the pool manager and obtaining a gate code. The pool will operate during the following hours:
  • Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday – 12 noon to 7:00 p.m.
  • Monday – closed
There will be a lifeguard on duty for all hours that the pool is open. A lifeguard must be hired for any events that are scheduled after hours. Fees
  • Riverwood Family Membership: $230
  • Riverwood Senior/Single Membership $130
  • Non-Resident Family Membership $290
  • Guest Fee: $2 per person per day

        • Download & Complete the Swim Club Pool registration-2018 and turn it in with your fees.
    • RIVERWOOD POOL RULES 2018 Compliance with these rules is mandatory for all club members. Please review these rules with all family members and guests.
    • 1. The pool is for the use of Riverwood Club members and their invited guests only.
    • 2. Riverwood Subdivision residents that are not club members may not use the pool on a guest basis.
    • 3. An adult must accompany children under the age of 10 at all times.
    • 4. Children age 10 and up may come to the pool unaccompanied between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (for a maximum of 4 consecutive hours) provided that they can prove to the lifeguard their ability to swim. The lifeguard will require a brief swim test to determine the child’s ability. This will be strictly enforced. Please note: The pool is not providing a babysitting service. If your child is at the pool, please make sure that you can be reached in case of emergency.
    • 5. No glass or chewing gum within the pool enclosure.
    • 6. The pool area and clubhouse is a NO SMOKING facility.
    • 7. No profanity will be tolerated.
    • 8. The baby pool is intended for the use of younger children, ages 6 and under. No rough play is allowed in this pool at any time.
    • 9. No running on any paved area within the pool enclosure. Bricks are especially slippery.
    • 10. Only one person is permitted on the diving board at a time. Diving area should be clear of other swimmers. Diving or jumping onto a flotation device is not allowed.
    • 11. Disposable diapers are not allowed in the pool. Please use swimming diapers.
    • 12. The clubhouse is for quiet activities. No rough play will be tolerated.
    • 13. The lifeguard and/or pool manager reserve the right to eject anyone from the pool for improper behavior. Parents will be notified when a minor child is ejected. If a member continually breaks pool and/or clubhouse rules, his/her membership will be terminated. Disagreements with the lifeguard on duty should be brought to the attention of pool management. Lifeguards will not tolerate verbal abuse.
    • 14. Anyone caught vandalizing the clubhouse or pool facilities will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and the membership will be terminated. Violators (or parents of minor children) caught vandalizing will be held financially responsible for all damages incurred. Clubhouse area is monitored with surveillance cameras.
    • 15. Members are to be considerate of others and tidy their pool area when leaving. Littering is not allowed. All trash should be put in an appropriate receptacle.
    • 16. After hours swimming is allowed until 10:00 p.m. Members should lock the gate while swimming after the guards have left. Members are responsible for turning off the lights and locking gate after hours. Leaving gate open could result in termination of membership.
    • 17. Members will be notified through email of any addendum to pool policies
    • Clubhouse The clubhouse is open only during designated pool hours. Arrangements may be made for exclusive use of the clubhouse after regular hours. For reservations and more information, please call Lynn Swiger at 809-0580. Note that the pool is never closed to pool members during regular operating hours. Please respect other people’s privacy during parties, but do not feel that you, as a member, cannot use the pool. When having a pool party, arrangements for lifeguards must be made. The cost is $15 per hour payable directly to the lifeguard. This is necessary for the safety of your children and guests.
    • Cleaning Schedule The pool is shocked every Monday when the pool is closed. If it becomes necessary to treat the water with chemicals at any other time during the week, a sign will be posted on the gate indicating “No Swimming.”
    • Comments Please feel free to contact the pool manager with any concerns or compliments. Also remember that the pool operates on a limited budget, and the pool manager is a volunteer. Please use courtesy when using the facility. Please clean up after yourself and leave the pool area tidy. If swimming after hours, make sure the gate is locked when you leave.
